
Ewart school was founded in the year 1913 as a finishing school for young Indian girls. It is now under the Management of the Madras Diocese of the Church of South India.

C.S.I Ewart was recognised as a Matriculation School in 1943 and upgraded as a Higher secondary School in 1978. The School offers a sound liberal Christian and general education aiming at the holistic development of pupils, through wide range of curricular, extra-curricular and co-curricular activities.
